Restored Vintage Instruments

If you demand the quality of classic older mallet instruments but are unable to find the right instrument at a reasonable price, perhaps we can help.

Realizing that prices of used mallet instruments, especially vintage mallet instruments, have been moving ever higher, our aim is to find, restore, and offer only the finest of these wonderful older instruments at fair, affordable prices.

All restoration work is done by Fall Creek's fine craftspeople. All tuning is done by Bill Youhass. Restored instruments come with a 1 year tuning warrantee.

Consignment Instruments

Consignment instruments are carefully screened. We offer only those instruments in 'very good' to like-new condition. We will tune consignment instruments once at ANY TIME at 50% off the current tuning fee.

Bars are in very good condition, tuned and refinished in 2006 by Fall Creek including replacement of one bar.
New insulators, cords, and springs (2006).
The resonators are in good condition with no dents.
The paint is fair to good. There are scratches and scrapes on the resonators and rails.
The wheels and frame are in good condition.
This instrument was acquired via consignment through Fall Creek Marimbas in May of 2005. It has never left the owner’s living room since the purchase and was used by only one person for music practice.
