High Density Surface Bars

Finally we've made the ultimate vibraphone bars: the HDS bars. Each of the new High Density Surface bars gets its own special surface treatment, the opposite of normal bars where the entire set gets their treatment together.

YES, up to 200% more sustain!

Where our normal bars offer already 50% more sustain, we've measured a sustain length of 23 seconds with the HDS bars against 8 seconds for a regular brand bar. And we're talking here of the range C4-G4 and WITH resonators!

The HDS bars are available on the LW series, in gold color only, at an additional price of €600.

For this you're getting bars that sound warm and open, yet still penetrating. Although the bars sound great in all environments, we specifically designed these bars with the symphony orchestras in mind.
